Below is the full email Chris Kowaleski shared with the community regarding his announcement:
Hi All,
It is with mixed emotions that I let the Pleasant Street Center community know that I will be stepping down as the Elder and Human Services Administrator. My last day serving the Pleasant Street Center will be Tuesday, December 16th.
It has been a joy to serve this community over the past few years. As both the Administrator and a resident of Reading, advocating for one another and our community ethos of respect, kindness and engagement has been a privilege. The Older Adult community here in Reading is capable, creative and committed. The staff here at the Pleasant Street Center is second to none and I thank them all for their dedication, passion and hard work that they have done and will continue to do. You will be in good hands with the excellent Pleasant Street Center team, the Council on Aging and Town Hall management.
We will be having a coffee hour on Tuesday, December 9th at 10:00am here at the Pleasant Street Center on the 2nd floor for those who would like to join me for a cup of coffee or Tea.
Thank you all for being amazing and making the Pleasant Street Center what it is!
Sincerely,
Chris Kowaleski
