Today, Jamie Belsito was proud to announce nine new endorsements from local, regional, and national leaders who believe she stands out as the best candidate to represent the people and communities of Massachusetts’ Sixth Congressional district. The slate of new supporters highlights Belsito’s broad, growing coalition across labor, reproductive freedom, municipal, and youth leaders as the campaign’s momentum accelerates ahead of the September 1 primary election.

New endorsements of Jamie’s candidacy include:

Liz Bradt, Chair, Salem Democratic City Committee: “Jamie Belsito will stand with working families and fight for our housing, our healthcare and a fair economy that works for families, retired folks, immigrants and workers. She has pledged to reject corporate PAC money and will never be bought by corporate America.”
2. Dexter Lee-Viator, Essex Select Board: “I support Jamie because we need her North Shore tenacity in Washington. Jamie has the energy to take on a system that is becoming increasingly stacked against the working people of our district and this country. I believe that Jamie will fight every day for working families, and not just special interests and corporations.”

New candidate distinctions:

1. Moms Demand Gun Sense Candidate Distinction: Recognizes advocates for gun violence prevention and signals to the organization's supporters, volunteers and voters across the country that a candidate advocates for gun violence prevention and will govern with gun safety in mind. Receiving this distinction also allows local Moms Demand Action volunteers to participate in field campaign events.
2. Mental Health Now Candidate designation: Powered by Inseparable Action, the Mental Health Now designation is a signal to voters that a candidate has committed to advancing mental health policy.
