Tonight, Post 1917 Reading is having an oyster, wine, and live music event supporting the Massachusetts Oyster Project taking place on Thursday, June 4th from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM.
The “Post 1917 Gives a Shuck” event will be an elevated Oyster & Wine Experience hosted on the restaurant’s large outdoor space, The Deck, featuring live oyster shucking, chef Jason-curated passed hors d’oeuvres, premium Drylands Sauvignon Blanc, live music, and interactive food and wine pairings, including specially prepared wine toppers served atop custom wine glasses. Guests will also have the opportunity to learn more about the Massachusetts Oyster Project and its mission to support oyster reef restoration and coastal resilience efforts across the state.
In addition to the culinary experience, the event will support a local environmental initiative, as Post 1917 is partnering with the Massachusetts Oyster Project throughout June and July, donating $1 from every bottle of Drylands Sauvignon Blanc sold to the organization.
Tickets for the event are $55 per person (excluding tax + gratuity) through Post 1917’s Eventbrite.
