Dear Editor
I am voting for Tony D’Arezzo for the Reading Select Board because of his deep historical knowledge and understanding of our town government developed while serving as a long time Town Meeting member and his 7 years of serving on Community Planning and Development Committee (CPDC). Tony D’Arezzo is no drama, just hard working. Given the challenges of keeping Reading affordable with a possible override in the near future, decisions to be made around the Pleasant Street center, CPA and other town developments, I want someone on the Select Board that has a proven track record to handle these decisions thoughtfully, with an ability to hear all residents and their concerns.
I want the Reading Select Board to get back to doing town business for the residents not “personal” business.
Having seen first hand Tony D’Arezzo balance the needs of the community and residents while serving for years on CPDC, there will be no need for “onboarding” with Tony D’Arezzo. I was impressed with his clear and concise vision for Reading during the Select Board debate. Watch it if you have not done so yet Reading Candidate Forum – Select Board.
