Please be advised that beginning today – Monday, July 28, 2025, weather permitting, Town of Reading DPW Staff will be paving a segment of Wakefield Street (Pearl St. to Charles St.) Construction work is scheduled to take place daily from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, and the paving process is expected to take several days to complete. Delays, detours, and road closures should be expected. Please be prepared for potential delays as construction is occurring. All on-street parking will be prohibited and will be strictly enforced by the Reading Police Department.
