Discover the power and healing of creative writing: this ongoing class is designed for older adults who would like to explore their creativity through story-telling, novels, poetry, or short stories. Students will be encouraged to collect and arrange their thoughts and ideas to share and write meaningful stories. There is a one-time Student Fee of $25, where students can drop-in on any date or all of them!

The instructor will provide writing samples, resources, prompts, and more. Writing supplies can be provided, but students can also bring their own notebooks, writing journals, laptops, or another electronic device.

The workshop will meet for 10 weeks. The one time student fee covers all 10 classes. Students can drop-in on any or all Saturdays. Students will have the option to attend online via Zoom if preferred. Students will use the Creative Arts Zoom account free of charge.

**This workshop was created in the memory of Ann Mottl, a founder & creative writing teacher at Creative Arts. Ann also founded the English as a Second Language (ESL) program in Reading.**
