Yesterday at Beverly Middle School, Reading’s first year in the Bay State Field Hockey League for girls grade 5 & 6 team Red, defeated Beverly via a score of 2-0. Team Red ended the first half with a goal from Remy and then a goal from Charlotte late in the second half to close it out. Reading’s win was rookie coach Denise Henneberry’s first of the year.

Reading 5/6 Red will play Masco 5/6 Black at Reading Memorial High School Turf 2A next Sunday, September 24th at 2:00PM.

If you have a Reading team that you would like highlighted in the future or to write a recap of their game, please reach out to Editor@ReadingRecap.com and we’ll be sure to have it posted.
