Yesterday, at the Burbank Ice Arena, was the Pink the Rink event and raffle drawing to benefit the RMHS Boys and Girls Varsity Hockey teams. In addition, 50% of the funds raised would go towards the Ellie Fund, a charity that provides essential support services for breast cancer patients.
Unfortunately, both the RMHS Boys and Girls lost both of their respective games vs Arlington on the day but over 500 raffle tickets, just for the 2 Taylor Swift tickets alone, were sold. That doesn’t include all of the other raffle prizes or the 50/50. It’s safe to say it was a resounding win for everyone involved.
