Beer Garden on the Common

Town Manager, Fidel Maltez, announced at last nights Select Board meeting that after the success of the Town’s first beer garden that a second one was planned for August 20th from 2PM-8PM. Sponsored again by the the Friends of Reading Rec, this time will feature beer from the Winter Hill Brewing Company + Scott Brothers. Also mentioned last night was that an Oktoberfest was in the works for this coming October.

Food this time around will be provided by Pizza World and Half & Half. There will also be Face Painting, Ice Cream and Games for the kids. ID’s will be required for the beer garden.

– Alcohol must remain inside the perimeter on the common that has been set up.

– Only those with proper Identification that are 21+ will be served and must get a wristband.

– Dogs are allowed, however they must remain on a leash at all times and under their owners control.

Don’t forget to bring your camping chairs and blankets!
