We were disappointed to postpone Winterfest because there was too much snow on the Common. Full disclosure, we were not disappointed that we did not have to stand out in the sleet and freezing rain on the original date.
But we are back on track with a new date and a new name!
AprilFest 2026

What is AprilFest? It is our outdoor celebration of downtown Reading, created to bring the community together in a fun, family-friendly way while shining a light on the amazing local businesses that make Reading and North Reading such special places to live, work, shop, and connect.
This free community event will feature fire tables and s’mores, music, local food, beer and wine vendors, ice sculptures, shopping, dining, and more. It is a great reason to get outside, stroll downtown, support local, and make spring memories with neighbors and friends.
And if you are a local business, nonprofit, or organization, this is your chance to get seen by local customers!
