As we reported in August of last year, the Dowd Medical Associates building located at 107 Woburn Street, was listed for sale. According to their Zillow Listing back then, the asking price was $2,500,000 for 0.414 Acres and being sold by The Laura Baliestiero Team of Coldwell Banker Realty. In December of 2023, the listing was removed with no new details.
In August of 2024, Dowd Medical Associates announced that they finalized plans for their new location that would provide a larger, fully accessible and modern office to care for their families.
Fast forward to December 12, 2024 and their office is closed for the day as they complete their move to their new location at 444 Washington Street in Woburn (next to the Post Office). According to a post made on November 26th by Dr. Corwin on the the Dowd Medical website:
We are thrilled to only be moving 1.5 miles from the current office, remaining easily accessible to all patients. Our new space, just over the town line, will provide a larger, fully accessible and modern office to care for our families.

Friday the 13th will be their first day in the new Woburn office after more than 50 years at their Reading location. It’s unknown what will be happening to the existing building but we will keep you updated when we know more.
