The Reading School Committee (SC) is meeting on Thursday March 16, 2023. The meeting is being held at 7pm at the Reading Memorial High School (RMHS) library and will be broadcast by RCTV and also be accessible via zoom. The packet includes the following information on agenda items. Probably one of the top items of interest for many parents will be the proposed school calendar for 2023-2024, because it contains some changes from the past, so I have included the calendar and accompanying memo with this post. There are some definite improvements in the organization and readability of the calendar.

โ Quarterly financial update (p. 24-34). Bottom line is that they project special education cost center to run a surplus of $325k.
