Post 1917 is excited to kick off the unofficial start to summer with a weekend-long opening party for The Deck at Post 1917, the restaurant’s spacious outdoor area that comfortably hosts 50 people and features Reading’s only outdoor bar.

Located within the historic Post Office Building at 136 Haven Street, the former home of Reading’s century-old post office, Post 1917 merges city vibes with local charm. From Thursday, May 22nd to Saturday, May 25th, restaurant goers can listen to live music on the patio while enjoying delicious food and newly debuted summer cocktails, al fresco.

The live music lineup kicks off Thursday evening with the Haverty Brothers performing from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., followed by Reading’s own Jami Giordano on Friday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. On Saturday, guests can enjoy a performance from Chad LaMarsh from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and the celebration wraps up on Sunday with Eric Grava Jr performing from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
