Hello residents of Reading! My name is Christopher Cook, and I’m excited to announce my candidacy for the Reading Select Board in the upcoming election on April 8th. My family and I are recent residents of Reading, and from the moment we arrived, we knew we had made the right choice. We were drawn to this town because of its strong sense of community, excellent schools, and vibrant local businesses.
Though we are new to town, my commitment to hard work, listening, and problem-solving will be no different than that of longtime residents. Combining both lived and learned experience throughout my career in both the banking industry and public service to the Commonwealth, I can bring a unique business/financial acumen to the Select Board, and ultimately to the town and residents. I am dedicated to keeping Reading a thriving, welcoming community for all, and I am committed to open communication with every resident.
