Due to the impending storm, today will be an early release day. Middle schools and RISE will dismiss at 10:30am, elementary schools will dismiss at 10:45am, and RMHS will dismiss at 11am (these times are slightly earlier than what we shared yesterday). In addition, there will be no Extended Day. While we do anticipate snow and slush during dismissal, this early release should allow students and staff to return home safely prior to significant accumulation or the shift from snow to sleet/freezing rain.
Trash and Recycling Delay:
Due to the timing of the forecasted snowstorm for today, Republic Services has notified the Town that there will be no trash or recycling collection for today, Thursday, February 6 and that all collection will be delayed by 1-day for the remainder of the week.
Thursday’s collection will now occur on Friday. Friday’s normal collection will now occur on Saturday. Please make sure to bring in any trash or recycling containers during tomorrow’s storm to ensure that they don’t impede any plowing operation.
