Start your year off right by joining in our community service project. There are projects that will appeal to a wide range of interests and skills. Some can be done at home, others at our town-wide gathering this morning January 13th, starting at 9am with a brief learning opportunity, plus refreshments! Projects include:
- Knit or Crochet Hats to help keep unhoused people warm.
- Make Fleece Blankets for Project Linus.
- Mission of Deeds help move and deliver furniture.
- Dress-A-Girl for Girls Around the World.
- Bookmarks to decorate for Reading Public Library.
- Prepare for the event at RMHS on Monday, January 15th.
- Thank You Cards to decorate for Reading Food Pantry Donors.
- Reading Food Pantry drive to restock empty shelves.
- Snack Packs filled and decorated for public service workers.
- Children’s Underwear and Socks for kids in DCF care.
- Meals prepared and packed for Lazarus House.
