Today, the Town of Reading staff will be repairing and improving the crosswalk and ramps that run across the exit of the Main Street/CVS Lot (Lowell Street).
The goal is to hopefully have parking closest to CVS/Venetian/Nero be available while closing off parking areas adjacent to Main Street, while maintaining bi-directional traffic into and out of the lot.
However – this is up to the discretion of the police detail and highway safety officers, and a full closure of the lot may be necessary.
This work is anticipated to take 3 days. Work will commence at 7AM and will likely be completed at 4pm each day, pending progress made. Work may go beyond 4pm.
