The Reading Memorial High School robotics team, FRC Team 4761 ‘The Robockets’ competed in the North Shore District qualifying event earlier this month. Hosted by the orginization NE First, which combines the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology. The competition involved 40 other high school teams from around the region inside the gymnasium at the Hawkes Field House. Even though the Robockets didn’t end up victorious, they put up an incredible effort over the course of two long days.
