The Reading School Committee (SC) is meeting on Thursday November 17, 2022.  The meeting is being held at 6:45pm at the Reading Memorial High School (RMHS) library and there is no mention of it being broadcast by RCTV nor is there a Zoom link. This is most likely due to the second night of Town Meeting being held at 7:30PM.

This brief meeting will include only discussion and a vote on letter of support for Safe Routes to School
grant. This was previously approved by the Select Board 5-0 at their Tuesday night meeting. This grant would help improve walk-ability as well as bike safety around the schools. The grant is for $1.5 million and would be focused on the Birch Meadow area. The request is due on November 18th but does not guarantee the town will receive it.
