On Monday, about 2PM, a fire broke out on the 4th floor of the Postmark building on Haven Street. Mutual Aid from North Reading, Lynnfield, Wakefield, Stoneham, and Burlington also responded. The State fire Marshall’s office is on the scene. Residents have a reunification space at the Reading Co-Op bank across Sanborn St. and are expected to be back inside soon. The fire was extinguished quickly by the fire department and it appears that the damage was limited to a section of the building. The Postmark, just recently completed last year, consists of 50 condominiums with a mixture of 1 and 2 bedroom homes.
