It’s that time of year again where incumbents are looking to retain their seats and potentially new candidates are emerging. Town Clerk Laura Gemme has provided an update for all of the open seats in the April 7, 2026 local election. We will provide updates every Thursday until the ballot is finalized as nomination papers are not official until returned and certified by the Town Clerk and Board of Registrars.

Select Board
- Incumbent Carlo Bacci pulled nomination papers on November 10.
- Salvatore Bramante (current Board of Health member) pulled papers on November 12.
- Anthony D’Arezzo (a candidate in last year’s election) pulled papers on November 18.
- Incumbent Karen Gately-Herrick has not yet pulled papers.
School Committee
- Incumbents Erin Gaffen and Carla Nazzaro have not yet pulled papers.
RMLD Board of Commissioners
- Current commissioner Robert Coulter pulled papers on November 18.
Board of Library Trustees
- Incumbents Christian Popp and Monette Verrier have not yet pulled papers.
Town Moderator
- Incumbent Alan Foulds pulled papers on November 10 but has not yet returned them for certification.
Town meeting had 23 individuals pull papers this week, all but two were incumbents; Allison Powell & Bruce Mackenzie.
