North Shore Pizza Party Serves Up a Slice of Success in Reading
Reading was the place to be this past Saturday as the highly anticipated North Shore Pizza Party inaugural event delivered a full day of food, music, and family fun at 49 High Street. Organized by New England Food Festivals, the event drew a steady stream of attendees from across the region, not just Reading locals. From noon until 10 PM, the area buzzed with energy as crowds enjoyed piping hot slices from local favorites like CooperDome Crusts, Parziales, Brookseyโs, Reading Food Services, and Frankโs Pizza. Sweet treats from Mikeโs Pastry, espresso from Pinoโs, and drinks from the Container Bar rounded out the culinary offerings. Live performances by Tommy Flynn, Ryan Pinette, Jami Giordano, and a guest DJ kept the vibe festive, while face painting and kidsโ activities made it a hit for families.
I ended up having five slices of the hot honey pizza from Parziales- it was absolutely incredible, and thatโs coming from someone whoโs notoriously picky. My youngest daughter couldnโt get enough of a banana, strawberry, and Nutella creation from APizza, which was a big hit. It was also great to see the lower Haven Street area finally getting the attention it deserves. Word is, the next big event might be roast beef-themed, and the buzz is already starting to build. Huge thanks to the organizers for knocking it out of the park and making this such a memorable event for the Reading community.
Up next in Reading is the Beer Garden on the Town Common, happening October 11th and hosted by the Reading-North Reading Chamber of Commerce.
