With Reading PorchFest 2024 just around the corner – June 22nd – the response has been truly amazing.
This year’s festival already has a record 84 musical performances lined up. In case you’re keeping score, that’s 52 more acts than Woodstock. The talent ranges across genres and ages, staged at 40 porches, driveways, and front lawns all over town, and all free.
The deadline is looming. Until June 7th, there is still time to register as both a host and performer, at ReadingPorchFest.com. If registering only as a performer, and your act needs a venue, the PorchFest Committee will do its best to find a match.
The website and Facebook pages are the best sources for all PorchFest information. On the web site is a gallery of those signed up to perform, complete with music samples. As June 22nd nears, a map and schedule will appear there, to help music fans plan their PorchFest day.
The Facebook page features daily snippets from all the amazing talent. Separate informational announcements will also be found there every few days.
The sixth annual Reading PorchFest is slated for Saturday, June 22nd from noon to six pm.
