via the Town of Reading – Here’s a true sign that spring is coming… It’s Street Sweeping Season! Get Excited!
Residents are asked to sweep their sidewalks and tree lawns (the grass strip that often exists between the walk and the roadway) into the street. Please don’t sweep the sand into a pile since that makes it more difficult for the sweepers to pick up the material. Instead, sweep it into a row along the curb.
