The Select Board will be meeting tonight at 7pm in the Select Board meeting room at Town Hall. After public comment and liaison reports, the board will open a Public Hearing on a new liquor license application for an Annual All Alcohol License – Parc Restaurant Group LLC d/b/a POST 1917. As reported last month, a new restaurant called Post 1917 Steakhouse is moving into the former Post Office location at 136 Haven Street. On the application in the packet, Jason Carron is the head chef and owner of the restaurant with a clean report by the RPD on page 39 of the packet.
The restaurant will be 3,930 square feet in size with a dining room that seats approximately 50 people. The bar itself seats 35, with 48 seats in the lounge surrounding the bar. The outside patio area will seat 50 additional people. The maximum occupancy is listed as 188 people.
After the hearing, the board is set to have a presentation from Edge Sports for the Symonds Way area as well as a presentation from the Council of Aging. As of this articles posting time, there are no presentations in the packet on what is slated to be discussed.
