Kenneth Steinman
Dr Jang was a young dentist full of hope and optomism many years ago. I met him when he was younger and working at a clinic. I think back then he was a good dentist and person.
I think the pressures of running his own business has turned him bitter, angry and condescending. He will not hesitate to ask strange questions when you are in the dental chair and walk out in anger leaving his hygienist to continue.
He really made me feel bad about myself. He would ask questions that did not make sense in the context of a Dental setting. While I would have loved to help him, he seemed repusled by me trying to help.
Kind of like if you imagine you ask someone for advice, but think they are lacking in wisdom and intelligence. (Like he thinks you are an idiot, wonder why he asked me in the first place)
He seemed to want a career change as he started asking questions about what he needed to get hired for my current job for a “friend”. When I was not able to fulfill his immediate needs by answering the question to his liking he became dismissive, He walked out the room and looked bored when I tried to answer his previous questions.
I tried hard to help give him advice on how to get a job for his likely imaginary friend(probably him).
I should not have to try so hard to verbally entertain and please my Dentist. I was just in for a cleaning because the Oral B toothbrushes he sells irratated my gums. Do not buy his toothbrushes.
I tried to help advise him but he seemed more aggravated. I am certain the “friend” was himself.
I get the sense he thinks I am beneath him from how he approached the subject, as well as previous interactions. (and therefore it would be easy for him to obtain a similar position.)
Like if I can have the job anyone breathing can do it.
He started asking me about my jobs benefits package and became enraged when I asked if he wanted to know the salary.
This was the worst experience of my life in a medical setting. I felt belittled and demeaned.
I am so glad I will never have to go back.
I hope he finds his dream job.
I even offered to help him in the appointment do that.
Perhaps with counseling and therapy he became the once good dentist he was.(or find his true calling which I think is what’s really going on).
Do not buy the toothbrushes he tries and sell. The Oral-B he sells is like DeWalt rotary drill, and actually caused alot of irriation I never had before to my gums. When I switched back to a cheap soft bristles I feel alot better. I feel he has the beside manner of a Rotary Hammer Drill.
Electric Toothbrush feels overpowered. Dont buy his toothbrushes powered by high voltages. They will cause more harm then good.
