On Friday, May 12th, please place out any scrap metal curbside by 6:00AM even if it is not your regularly scheduled trash day. Below is an alphabetical list of acceptable metals as well as those to NOT put out.
Acceptable Metal:
- Auto Rims
- Basketball poles (without cement footing)
- Bicycles
- Cast Iron Pipe
- Cast Iron Radiators
- Cast Iron Sinks /tubs
- Console sewing machine
- Garage door motor sections
- Gas grill – no propane tanks
- Guts from a piano
- Kitchen metal cabinets
- Lawnmower, no riding mowers (remove gas and oil)
- Metal Bumpers/fenders
- Metal Desks and File Cabinets
- Metal File cabinets, small 2 drawer / larger 4 drawer
- Metal Flag Poles
- Metal folding chairs
- Metal free standing drill press / metal table saw
- Metal Pool
- Metal Sheds
- Metal shelving (taken apart)
- Metal Spring (box spring)
- Metal swing set (dismantled/no footings)
- Pool heater
- Rod Iron railings
- Rototiller
- Snow blowers (remove gas and oil)
- Stainless steel sink
- Treadmills, Elliptical, Ski machines,
- Weight bench (exercise equipment under 50 lbs)
- Wood Stoves (no furnaces)
Unacceptable Metal:
- No white goods (Appliances)
- No chain link fence
- No tanks, propane or oxygen
- Metal bed side rails
