Town Clerk, Laura Gemme, has provided a seventh and final update for all of the open seats in the April 4, 2023 election. Today, all of the candidates on the ballot were finalized and nomination papers are now official. The last day to withdraw your name from the ballot is March 2, 2023 at 5:00PM.

Starting off with the changes to contested races, Melissa Lee Murphy pulled nomination papers yesterday for Select Board and turned them in today. Her signatures were then certified the same day. Michael D. Wick pulled nomination papers on February 6th but failed to turn them in by the 5PM deadline today.

5 new nomination papers were taken out this week for Town Meeting and all 5 had their signatures certified. 3 residents, only in Precinct 2, failed to turn in their nomination paperwork. Precinct 3, ironically only has 3 candidates running for 8 seats. A total of 94 residents are now certified and running for Town Meeting spread across the 8 precincts:

  • Precinct 1 with 14
  • Precinct 2 with 12
  • Precinct 3 with 3
  • Precinct 4 with 9
  • Precinct 5 with 15
  • Precinct 6 with 11
  • Precinct 7 with 14
  • Precinct 8 with 16
