Coming in the Spring of 2024 at 136 Haven Street is the Post 1917 Steakhouse, the former Post Office. Rick Nazzaro of Colonial Manor Reality revealed earlier today that Chef Jason Carron will be the Proprietor and it will “be the hottest seat in town”. The name derives from when the building was first built back in 1917.

The plan to convert the former post office into a 3,900 square foot restaurant started back in 2021 under the name “Common District Meeting House” but failed to materialize.

Via Post 1917’s Facebook page – it will be a steakhouse: city vibe, local heart. Our menu is hand selected to feature locally and ethically sourced ingredients. We canโ€™t wait for you to dine with us!
