The Walter S. Parker Middle School re-roofing project went out to bid in August of 2022 and work commenced this year to avoid conflicts with faculty and students in the building. From the request for proposal, the project generally consisted of a full roof tear-off of entire roofing system down to decking, including all items not otherwise scheduled for removal including the removal, reinstallation and re-energizing of limited MEP equipment and systems. The original facility was constructed in 1995, with the Auditorium portion constructed in 1925.

The contract award amount was $1.3 million dollars.
