Yesterday, the Town of Reading hosted the Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA) Secretary Beth A. Card, at the Maillet, Sommes & Morgan Conservation Land. Secretary Card was there to promote the special stormwater project that was awarded $2.1M in state funding from the Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) Program for the construction of the project.

The State Delegation of Senator Jason Lewis, and Representatives Bradley Jones and Rich Haggerty also were in attendance. The press conference began at 10:00AM and a trail exploration followed led by the Reading Conservation Division.
