Winter Reading Program-Around the World in 80 Days!

Travel the world without leaving your house! Around the World in 80 Days is our winter reading program for kids and families. Pick up your reading passport, decide where you want to visit, and start reading!

This program is for all ages and is generously sponsored by the Friends of the Reading Public Library. The challenge is to read 7 books in 80(ish) days, and have each book be about a different continent. You can read, listen to an audiobook, listen to music, or watch a movie that takes place on different continents.

Every time you visit a country, we will stamp the passport. Once you finish all 7, pick up your prize at the Children’s Desk! Have fun exploring and learning this winter.
