READING — Chief David Clark reports that the Reading Police Department is seeking qualified candidates to fill the part-time position of Child/Adolescent Clinician. 

The Department is seeking a dedicated and compassionate clinician to join the team. This is a part-time position, 16 hours a week. The role is funded through the Opioid Abatement Program. 

Responsibilities include providing support and counseling to children and adolescents, collaborating with Reading Public Schools to support students, conducting assessments and creating individualized treatment plans.

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

  • Licensed clinician with experience in child/adolescent mental health.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
