Recently on the Christopher’s Restaurant Facebook page, a GoFundMe link was shared for one of their long time employees, Kristen Conde. Kristen is unable to work after 14 years with the restaurant due to her needing dialysis. My family has been going to Christopher’s since we moved to Reading 14 years ago and have been waited on by Kristen as well as all the other incredible employees there.

Below is the message linked from her friend Jessica from the donation page, with the direct link at the bottom:

Hello, my name is Jessica, and I am sharing this on behalf of myself and Christopher’s restaurant. We are collecting donations for one of our dearest employees, Kristen. Kristen has worked for us for 14 years as of this August. She has always been a loyal employee and has become part of the Christopher’s family. She is also an amazing wife to Paul and a mom to there 16 year old son Nathan. Nathan is an amazing, young man and also loves playing football. Kristen and her husband enjoy giving back to Nathans football community. Kristen has been a diabetic for 30 years and is now in end-stage kidney failure and requires dialysis, which will prevent her from working. In this trying time we would love to help her since she can no longer work. Any donation to help Kristen and the family would be greatly appreciated.

Donations can be made via the GoFundMe located here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/r3kfs-help-for-kristen

Alternatively, donations via cash or check will be accepted at Christopher’s Restaurant, 580 Main Street in Reading.
