Today’s Martin Luther King Jr. Day’s agenda has been released. Things kick off with a 9:30AM community breakfast, including a Trees of Peace Interactive Art Display at Reading Memorial High School Performing Arts Center, 62 Oakland Road. Following that at 10:00AM, are numerous speakers, presentations and songs by the RMHS choir, in the following order:

  • RMHS Jazz Ensemble “Manteca” & β€œI Hope In Time A Change Will Come”
  • Welcome by Sudeshna Chatterjee – Interfaith Invocation and Choir by Reading Clergy Association
  • “Lift Every Voice and Sing” by RMHS Mixed Choir/David Mosher
  • “I’ve been to the mountaintop”, compiled by Anna Cuevas video presentation
  • Student Dramatic Scene – “Just Peace: from Pain to Endless Possibilities”
  • “We are the Peace” by Lynette Marshall
  • “Rise Up” by Mixed Choir/David Mosher
  • “Pledges for Inclusive Peace” by Reading Community Members
  • “This little light of Mine” by RMHS Mixed Choir/David Mosher
  • Students and Audience contributions to the Tree of Peace
