DESCRIPTION:Lace up your sneakers\, the Reading Lions Club and\nFriends of Reading Recreation\nJourney for Sight 5K Road Race returns! \n\n\n\n\nThe Reading Lions Club (“Club”) and The Friends of Reading Recreation annually present a family-friendly 5K Road Race and 1 Mile Walk through central Reading.  All proceeds from the race are donated to the Massachusetts Lions Eye Research Fund (MLERF)\, and other local sight-related charities supported by the Club. MLERF finances basic eye research at world renowned institutions such as the Mass. Eye and Ear right here in Boston. Over the years\, the Club has donated over $336\,000 from the proceeds of this race to MLERF\, and we are excited to continue these efforts in conjunction with the Friends of Reading Recreation (FORR). \n\n\n\n\nTime: 6:30 pm \nMemorial Park\, Harrison St. Reading\, MA \n\n\nEvent Information\n\nRegistration Cost: \n\nBefore race day: $30 for 18 years and older and $20 for 17 years & under\nRace day: $35 for 18 years and older and $25 for 17 years & under\n\nAwards will be given out for the following categories: \n\n1st Overall Male\, Female\, and Non-Binary\nTop 3 Male\, Female\, and Non-Binary in each of the age categories: 15 & Under\, 16-19\, 20-29\, 30-39\, 40-49\, 50-59. 60-69\, 70-79\, and 80+.\n\nT-Shirts are guaranteed for the first 250 people who register. \n\n\n\n\n\nRace Website\nAdditional race information can be found at https://www.readinglionsclub.org. \n\n\n\n\nCourse Map
