DESCRIPTION:Reading Community Singers ~ First Rehearsal ~ Come Join Us! \nMark your calendar! The Reading Community Singers is pleased to announce our Fall season will begin with our First Rehearsal on Tuesday\, August 29\, 2023. \nSign-In on August 29 will start at 7:00 PM\, with Rehearsal to follow at 7:30. Registration is open for the first three rehearsals – try RCS out for up to three weeks before joining! While RCS does NOT require Auditions\, our Members must love to sing\, be able to match pitch and carry a tune\, and be committed to attending rehearsals. We’re open to all ages and backgrounds – from 18 years to Senior Citizens. RCS is one of the longest running non-audition choruses in the United States. \nRehearsals are held every Tuesday from 7:30 to 9:30 PM at Old South United Methodist Church\, 6 Salem St.\, Reading MA. \nOur Concert “Holiday Party” will be presented on Saturday\, December 9 at 7:30 PM. Music will include “Last Christmas”\, “Sleigh Ride”\, and “93 Million Miles” (as recorded by Jason Mraz)\, with Beth Mosier ~ Artistic Director\, and Joe Beninati ~ Accompanist. \nJoin RCS for a fantastic time and help us celebrate the Holiday Season with the gift of music.
